DET14C and DET24C are Megger's new generation ground resistance clamp meters. These instruments can inject a test current into the grounding system, without disconnecting the connections between the electrodes when testing a multi electrode grounding system. The instrument is easy to connect, powerful in function, easy to operate, and has good safety.

    The jaws adopt a flat design to prevent dust accumulation, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the test. Compared to similar Megger products, other advantages include higher accuracy, 300% increase in battery running time, and improved electromagnetic interference resistance due to built-in filters.

    These instruments provide a 35 A RMS AC current testing function. Testing the current in the grounding cable is a safety function, especially when it is necessary to remove a certain grounding cable. If removed under excessive current, it will form an arc and cause damage.

    The elliptical jaws can conveniently clamp the grounding electrode or grounding copper bar in narrow areas. The pliers can clamp grounding (circular) electrodes with a diameter of less than 37 mm and grounding copper bars with a width of 50 mm, making them suitable for substations, transmission towers, and multiple other fields. The display screen with backlight function can easily obtain the degree in dark and narrow places, and pressing the Hold button will produce a beep. The optimized mechanical structure of the jaws ensures moderate torque.

    DET14C has an internal storage function that can be accessed through the screen; DET24C can also use a USB cable to transfer data to PowerDB (data management software), and each test result is marked with a serial number and time date information.
